How do I prevent spills with a manual nozzle?Answer

Place the discharge end firmly in the receiving tank, start with a light squeeze, then increase as needed. Release fully to stop flow before removing the nozzle.

How do I connect power safely?Answer

For DC: connect red clip to (+), black clip to (–) on a 12V battery away from open fuel. For AC: plug into a grounded outlet. Keep all connections dry and away from fumes.

Can I use extension hoses or different nozzles?Answer

Use only manufacturer-approved accessories. Unapproved hose/nozzle changes can reduce performance, introduce leaks, or void warranty.

Maintenance & cleaning tips?Answer

After use, let residual fuel drain back to the source. Wipe exterior with a dry cloth. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not flush with water if used for fuel.

I really like this nozzle-type fuel dispenser with this Super Gas Pump. I use it battery-operated as it keep it portable. I can pick up my jerry can and move it from the garage to either my boat or ATV and top up the gas tanks without spillage. It is nice not to have to depend on the previous pumps I had with the automatic shut-off that failed twice on me and ended up with gasoline spillage. With this new pump I can control the discharge rate and shut off flow when desired. I found only one drawback - a bit of an annoyance. There is nothing to keep the nozzle in the nozzle holder and the nozzle falls out when moving the jerry can from location to location without separately holding it by hand. Because of the free rotation, the force of gravity with the weight of the hose connection and nozzle rotates the pump face such that the nozzle slides out. The discharge nozzle of the previous Super Gas Pump model with the auto-shutoff had a clip to hold the nozzle in place. It's too bad that this new flow control nozzle model doesn't have that. For now, I fixed this problem by adding a rubber band to the end of the nozzle after parking it in the holder. Not ideal, but it works for now until I find a better method of keeping it in place. This is something that the pump manufacturer should keep in mind and perhaps improve in future models.

Hey .....Batteries no longer required!!! I've got 3 other older pumps which no longer work as the battery terminal's constantly and quickly corroded, weird. This pump does have a higher fuel flow but unfortunately no self-shut off. The longer hose is a good length, not too short or too long. My biggest annoyance is that the nozzle does not "secure" itself in its holder and keeps falling out. (With the old pumps the nozzle "clicked' relatively securely in place.) Drives me CRAZY!!!! I was concerned that the nozzle will break when falling to the ground, so I use a small bungee cord to keep it secured in the nozzle holder. The nice thing about this nozzle is its flow control. With the older pumps, sure the nozzle would self-shut off to prevent overfilling, but then the hose would drain and overfill the ie: mower gas tank. When this nozzle is shut off, that's it, no more fuel draining out of the hose. Overall, neat rig.

I already provided feedback when replying to a previous email. Here is what I said; The pump I purchased works well. It quickly transfers gasoline to our quads, generator etc. The only complaint I have is that the "head" of the pump that contains the batteries is not fixed in position. It rotates freely and drops the nozzle onto the concrete in my shop or the dirt if I'm outside. There also isn't a rubber washer between the adapter and the sceptre cans I have so gasoline can leak if I'm carrying a full can.

This is the forth fuel pump that I have purchased from BRS. This by far is my favourite. With the long hose I don’t have to lift my Jerry can to fill my generator and with pistol style nozzle I can regulate the flow and don’t spill a drop. It is a great design and highly recommend it.

This is the second pump I have from BRS and I have to say I am thrilled with the first one which is not a trigger style. But the second one is, I found using it for the 3rd time it is leaking now quite steadily. What good is the hype about environment if it leaks all over the ground. NOT HAPPY with the cost if this is what I get. I can do that for nothing if I didn’t buy one of these. Note to company-use better seals or improve quality without increasing price and you will save customer loss.

So far this battery is performing great. My 10 year old H-D AGM battery was giving me trouble, would not hold charge for more than a couple of days, then it would not start the bike. Since installing this battery a couple of weeks ago, I have not had to plug the trickler in and the bike turns over like a champ and starts every time.

Battery arrived to my door within a couple days at the most. Appeared to be fully charged, and in 100% state of health according to my battery tester. Incredible customer service from the moment I requested information on the battery, including now. Battery seems strong, I've only started the ATV a handful of times, but it works, and when I put it on the trickle charger, its fully charged again in minutes. So again I went with BRS as my new ATV Battery because the one I bought for my side by side worked so well why not deal with local. The battery comes pre-charged ready for install not like them other batteries.
The price was about $12 cheaper then Yuasa and was delivered to my door in less than 32 hrs can't get better than that and like I say its keeping our money in Canada/Ontario.
