Spring Cleaning Tips

Since spring is here...

Check out these little known tips that might help you this spring and beyond...

1. Use a tennis ball to clean scuff marks:

Cut a small slit in a tennis ball and insert a broom handle. Use the ball to scrub scuff marks off of your floors.

2. Use bread to pick up broken glass:

If you accidentally break a glass, use a slice of bread to pick up the shards. The bread will trap the glass pieces and make clean up easier.

3. Use vinegar to clean your shower head:

Fill a plastic bag with vinegar and secure it around your shower head with a rubber band. Let it sit for a few hours, then remove the bag and run the shower to rinse away any residue.

4. Use a rubber band to keep a stripped screwdriver in place:

If you have a stripped screw that won't stay in place, wrap a rubber band around the tip of the screwdriver for extra grip.

5. Use a tension rod to organize cleaning supplies:

Hang a tension rod under your sink and use it to hang spray bottles and cleaning supplies. This frees up shelf space and makes it easier to access your supplies.

I hope these tips are helpful!
