GYEON Q²M APC Concentrated
GYEON Q²M APC Concentrated
Adjustable Cleaning Power for Interior and Exterior Detailing
GYEON Q²M APC is a concentrated all-purpose cleaner for tackling dirt and greasy residue around your vehicle. Dilute it to suit the job, from routine cleaning of compatible interior trim to heavier work in wheel arches and engine bays. One concentrate gives you several working strengths, making it useful for both home detailing and a busy wash setup.
The advantage is control. A lightly soiled door panel does not need the same cleaning strength as a dirty wheel arch. Start with a mild dilution, test the material and increase strength only when necessary. Combined with a suitable brush or microfiber towel, APC lets you focus on the areas that need more cleaning attention.
Key Benefits
- Concentrated formula: mix the amount you need at a strength appropriate for the surface.
- Interior and exterior use: clean compatible cabin trim, engine-bay surfaces and wheel arches.
- Targeted degreasing: helps loosen oily grime that a light maintenance wipe may leave behind.
- Flexible cleaning method: use with a cloth or suitable detailing brush, then remove the dirty solution.
- Two bottle sizes: choose 1L for occasional detailing or 4L for more frequent mixing.
GYEON APC Dilution Guide
Ratios below mean product to water. For example, 1:15 means one part APC plus fifteen parts water. These starting points follow GYEON's published guidance; always test first and use the weakest effective mixture.
| Cleaning task | APC : water | For approximately 1L of mixed cleaner |
|---|---|---|
| Routine cleaning of compatible interior surfaces | 1:15 | 62.5ml APC + 937.5ml water |
| Heavier exterior cleaning on compatible surfaces | 1:5 | 167ml APC + 833ml water |
| Exceptional heavy contamination in wheel arches or engine bays | 1:1 | 500ml APC + 500ml water |
The 1:1 mixture is reserved for demanding cleaning on suitable materials. It is not a routine interior dilution. Bottle size refers to concentrate; the figures in the table describe the final mixed solution.
How to Use GYEON APC
- Identify the surface. Check the material's care instructions, remove loose debris and choose a conservative dilution.
- Mix and label. Measure the concentrate and water into a suitable bottle. Label it with the product name and dilution so the mixture is easy to identify later.
- Test a hidden area. Check for changes in colour, texture or finish before cleaning the whole surface.
- Apply with control. Inside the cabin, put the solution on a towel or brush where practical. Avoid spraying directly into switches, seams or electronic controls.
- Agitate gently. Use a brush appropriate for the material to loosen the dirt. Work in small sections and keep the cleaner from drying.
- Remove the residue. Rinse suitable exterior areas thoroughly. On interior trim, lift away the dirty solution and finish with a clean, damp towel where the material permits.
- Inspect before repeating. Let the area dry enough to assess the result before increasing concentration or applying another treatment.
Precautions and Surface Compatibility
- Work on cool surfaces, out of direct sunlight. Let engine components cool before cleaning.
- Never allow the working solution to dry on the surface.
- Do not flood electrical components, vents or cabin controls.
- Delicate leather, screens, unfinished materials and specialist finishes need their own compatibility checks and suitable cleaners.
- Strong cleaning can affect existing waxes, sealants or dressings. Test first if you want to preserve them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the concentrate straight from the bottle?
Use the recommended diluted mixtures. GYEON's strong 1:1 guidance still includes an equal amount of water and is intended only for exceptional contamination on suitable surfaces.
Is a stronger dilution always better?
No. Strength should match the contamination and material. Extra concentration can make residue removal harder and increase the chance of affecting a finish without improving a light cleaning job.
Can APC replace an interior dressing?
No. APC is a cleaner. If you want to add a protective dressing afterward, first remove the cleaning residue and let the surface dry as required by that product.
Can I use it on every type of leather?
Do not assume universal compatibility. A dedicated leather cleaner is a more appropriate starting point when the leather type or finish is uncertain. Follow the seat or leather manufacturer's care instructions.
Does APC replace car shampoo?
Use it for targeted cleaning where needed. A dedicated car shampoo remains the practical choice for a routine whole-vehicle contact wash, particularly when maintaining existing protection.
Can it remove a ceramic coating?
Do not rely on APC for complete coating removal. GYEON Total Remover is the dedicated option for chemically degrading existing protection during a surface reset.
