The product works very well. I use it on a diesel can then a gas can. When you stop pumping it drains the fuel lefy in the hose back into the can. I can tell you that I really wish I had bought this twenty years ago but probably didn't exist then. Highly recommend.

It works well for transferring gas from a large portable fuel container to a smaller one that is more manageable. However I find that using it to transfer from the larger fuel container (ie 23L)directly to the fuel tanks of yard equipment (ie lawnmower/snowblower) is not practical because you still have to lug the large container with pump attached around.

Faster than I thought it would be. Picks up when BRP tank is full which was always the problem. Noticed small leak at the discharge connection at the control unit when lifting from the ground vs jug on the running board. Can’t see anyway to tighten.
BRP has no access to battery terminals. I have an SAE plug for tender I use but need the DIN plug to go in unit. The pump came will a great number of power sources but I could use this one more. Very awkward to store, I use an old bag, but oh well.

When I bought this pump I hoped I could fill gas tanks on various machines without having to awkwardly lift 5 gallon gas cans, since I am approaching 70 y/o. Let me tell you it works great, better than advertised. I highly recommend this pump.

I've only ever used the 110v so far. Pumped probably 30 gallons of gas and 10 gallons of diesel.
Not super fast but works great. I like the clips to store hose away, they will also clip on fuel spouts too.
Auto shutoff is nice also.

I simply cannot say enough about the service and FREE delivery I recieved from BRS. We had such rave reviews about the Pumpmatic Super Gas transfer pump this past summer from other cottagers who found it so valuable, so I wanted to get one for my husband. It was the only thing on his list, but I wasn't sure how I could make it happen. Bought this as a gift for my neighbour. He keeps the end of my lane clear every winter. He’s getting older and struggles to fill his tractor. I knew this would help him because mine has helped me tremendously. Being able to plug this one in to 120V is a nice addition, but 4AA’s do the job no problem. He says it’s a god send. The hose is long enough to reach most tanks without becoming a tangled mess. If you don’t already have one of these pumps, you’re really missing out.

Dear Hearts, it may be hard to believe, but I've had my pump about a month and have not had to fuel anything. I watched the neighbor use his the other day, and it worked really well. So, I'm supposing that within the next few days I'll have to put fuel in my RTV, then I can give you a valid assessment. Y'all stay safe and warm up there.

I love this thing! I've been burned by other online purchases but, this being a Canadian operation, I decided to give it a try. I took it to the camp in December and even though it was well below the recommended operating temperature, the bikes needed refueling. I was very surprised by the ease of operation and that it worked as promised! Several others used it too, and their orders have already been processed! I wanted to see how well it would drain the can and I discovered it may have left a tablespoon of gas in the can! My order for a long hose model, for the tractors, is following shortly! Good job on creating these units!

At age 77 it is no longer easy to hold up five gallons of fuel while filling up my zero turn. This pump is wonderful, just sit the gas can next to the mower, place the filler end in the mowers tank and turn it on. It even shuts itself off when mower tank is full. What more could you ask for. Definitely has been a tremendous purchase. Can’t thank you enough for such a great product.

The unit I purchased did not pump.I called your customer service and told them it would not pump the gas out of the container.Itried with batteries ,with the power adapter and the 12 volt cable.I told me right away that he was shipping me a 2nd unit ass per your wrranty policy.

Absolutely kicking myself for not having bought this months ago. It makes it so much easier and safer to fill the gas tank on my boat. No more having to step precariously over my pontoon motor while holding a gas can in one hand and clinging to the boat seat with the other for balance. For the diesel I was lifting 20 litre jugs shoulder height while filling tractors ( no fun ) with the pump I can fill them in minutes with no effort. And the automatic shut off is a great feature. I use this recently acquired pump at my camp/cabin. Photo shows the simplicity of filling an outboard motor fuel tank prior to launching the boat. I use mine battery operated (AA x 4) as it is the simplest way to move it around from place to place. It is particularly handy in filling my generators without spill. Got to love the auto shut-off when tanks being filled become full.
One thing that needs to be pointed out and told to new/future users, once the tanks being filled are full, immediately pull the hose from the tank and hold it up to allow all fuel in the hose to return back to the fuel container. This will leave the hose MT and avoid spills. One other thing to note, if one fills a fuel tank that is lower in elevation than the fuel container from which fuel is pumped, the auto stop will stop the pump; however, fuel will continue to syphon from the fuel container allowing the fuel tank being filled to overflow. Thus I do not recommend using this pump for filling tanks that are at a lower elevation than the source container being pumped from. One must always ensure that the tank being filled is higher in elevation than the source to avoid spillage.
I do fill my outboard motor fuel tank when the boat is docked. My dock is at a higher elevation than the bottom of the boat where the tank sits. To avoid any spillage I use a self-priming syphon hose (CTC #028-3109-2) that I can pull from the source container before overflowing my boat's fuel tank. This is a very handy tool to move liquids to lower elevations or emptying tanks/containers. I also found that the syphon hose will do a better job of emptying a gasoline jerry can than the PumpMatic Super Gas Pump which leaves a bit more fuel behind.

I bought my first fuel transfer unit last month. It worked so great that I bought another one to keep at my house for hurricanes and generator days. The first unit is at my ranch where it works everyday. It fills all the tractors, riding lawn mowers and the side-by-side. The pump makes gas and diesel go farther because I don't overfill any equipment and I don't spill any trying to fill equipment with heavy 5 gallon cans. I'm very happy with both units and I plan to give a few out as Christmas gifts
